    The Cambridge Senior Management Programme is designed to help you broaden your strategic perspective, strengthen your leadership capabilities and drive greater organisational impact. Structured around three transformational themes, the curriculum combines immersive campus experiences, live online learning and personalised leadership development to prepare you to navigate complexity and lead change with confidence.

    Day 1: Leading Complex Strategic Projects and Frugal Innovation

    • Examine the underlying dynamics of complex projects, including the challenges of assessing progress and managing uncertainty across multiple interdependencies.

    • Learn how organisations around the world are applying frugal innovation principles to drive growth, adaptability and impact.

    • Examine the role of risk management, emerging technologies, including AI, and operational agility in maintaining competitive advantage. 

    • Discover practical approaches to fostering creativity at both the individual and team levels.

    • Learn techniques to challenge assumptions, unlock innovative thinking and apply creative problem-solving to complex business challenges.

    Navigate uncertainty with greater confidence through a live online learning experience designed to help you anticipate change, respond to disruption and identify emerging opportunities. Through faculty-led sessions and expert insights, you will explore the forces reshaping organisations, industries and leadership — including AI, technological disruption and evolving workforce dynamics — in an increasingly complex world.

    Week 1: Organisational Flux and Systemic Leadership

    • Explore how leaders can navigate mergers, restructuring, transformation and other forms of organisational flux using the principles of systemic leadership and complexity thinking. 

    • Learn how to balance immediate priorities with long-term capability building while recognising unintended consequences and opportunities for change in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

    Week 2: Dealing with Disruption, AI and the Future of Leadership

    • Examine how disruptive innovation, AI and emerging technologies are reshaping industries, business models, competitive advantage and the nature of leadership. 

    • Explore the opportunities and challenges created by AI, generative AI and agentic AI.

    • Develop the leadership capabilities needed to respond to technological disruption, drive transformation and lead effectively in a hybrid and increasingly AI-enabled world.

    Week 3: Sustainability and the Economics of Climate Change

    • Explore the economic and business implications of climate change, including its impact on industries, investment, innovation and long-term growth.

    • Examine the role of sustainability solutions, including carbon capture and storage, in supporting the transition to a lower-carbon economy.

    Week 4: Talent, Culture and the Evolving Workforce

    • Understand how changing workforce expectations, hybrid work, AI and technological advances are redefining the relationship between employers and employees.

    • Learn how to build stronger cultures, develop talent more effectively and create employee experiences that support engagement and organisational performance.

    Week 5: Anticipating the Future and Building Organisational Resilience

    • Develop the ability to identify weak signals, interpret emerging trends and anticipate opportunities and risks, including those created by emerging technologies and AI, before they become mainstream. 

    • Explore horizon-scanning approaches and the characteristics of high-performing organisations to strengthen long-term resilience and sustain competitive advantage.

    In the final Cambridge immersion, you will build on the insights gained throughout the programme to focus on the human, cultural and organisational levers that drive lasting impact. Through practical frameworks, coaching, peer learning and reflective exercises, you will strengthen your ability to influence across the organisation, build high-performing teams and lead change with greater confidence. 

    Day 1: High-Performance Organisations and Power and Politics

    • Examine the barriers and enablers of cross-functional collaboration, and learn practical mechanisms to break down silos and improve organisational effectiveness.

    • Understand the dynamics of power, politics and influence and their role in driving organisational impact and career success.

    • Develop the skills needed to build consensus, strengthen your influence and lead effectively in complex organisational environments.

    Day 2: Managing Time Systemically and Individualised Personal and Professional Development (IPPD)

    • Examine how leadership success can create constraints on time and effectiveness, and learn a systemic approach to managing competing priorities.

    • Identify opportunities to move beyond reactive commitments and create greater capacity for long-term strategic impact in an increasingly technology-enabled working environment. 

    • Begin your IPPD journey through coaching, self-reflection and experiential learning.

    • Develop a deeper understanding of your behaviours, preferences and leadership impact to enhance personal effectiveness.

    Day 3: IPPD

    • Continue your leadership development journey through immersive coaching, reflection and peer learning experiences.

    • Explore how intentions, behaviours and adaptability can influence the way others experience your leadership, particularly as the nature of work and collaboration evolves alongside technology and AI. 

    • Strengthen your ability to build trust, listen effectively and foster stronger relationships across teams and stakeholders.

    • Translate self-awareness into practical actions that enhance your leadership effectiveness and long-term development.

    Day 4: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Performance Rather Than Results

    • Explore the individual and organisational factors that contribute to inclusion, equity and effective workplace cultures.

    • Learn practical frameworks to identify bias, implement meaningful change and create more inclusive organisations.

    • Discover how a performance-focused approach can unlock greater innovation, collaboration, resilience and long-term success.

    Day 5: Persuasion and Influence and Integration of Learnings

    • Explore a range of persuasion and influence strategies and evaluate their effectiveness in different organisational contexts.

    • Reflect on key programme insights and connect them to your personal and professional leadership agenda.

    Individualised Personal Development (IPPD) sessions

    The Individualised Personal and Professional Development (IPPD) Sessions will give you a range of opportunities to understand yourself better as you look at your behaviour from multiple perspectives and use them, along with the other content from the programme, to make significant and sustainable progress on your development plan — for which you are responsible. It involves a combination of class work, small group work, coaching and individual reflection space to maximise your personal learning and development.

You will be required to commit not more than four to six hours per week, enabling you to benefit from this transformational programme while fulfilling your day-to-day work responsibilities. Please note the programme also includes in-person modules in Cambridge, UK.

    The tuition fee covers teaching fees, all programme materials and access to online coursework. The fee does not include accommodation for the in-person modules, travel expenses (domestic, international, visa fees and more) and other expenses not specifically mentioned in the programme fee.

    You can pay the full programme fee upfront or pay in easy instalments. If you apply well in advance of the programme start date, you can receive a programme fee benefit.
